The Fourth of July

Posted by: Carol Andrews, 2017 MAAR President on Wednesday, July 5, 2017

The Fourth of July, which commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, was Tuesday and while cooking out and spending time with family and friends I hope you took time to remember the day and its importance.

In honor of the Fourth of July the Montgomery Area Association of REALTORS® was proud to display American Flags along the Eastern Boulevard. Our REALTOR® and Affiliate Members look forward to this Partners in Patriotism project each year, and it gives us the opportunity to share our project each year, and it give us the opportunity to share our pride in America and a strong patriotic spirit with the community.

The Montgomery Area Association of REALTORS® began flying Old Glory nearly twenty years ago to commemorate our country's independence.  This year we dedicated the flags to all public service members who protect and serve our communities as well as those in the armed forces who fight to protect our freedom.  We are grateful to  Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange for making this project possible each year by providing the manpower to put up and take down the flags.

We like to say that "REALTORS® Mean More" and we work hard every day to prove that to our clients.  I hope you had a memorable Fourth of July holiday and enjoyed seeing our flags as much as I did.  As always if you have questions about River Region Real Estate call a members of the Montgomery Area Association of REALTORS® today.
